I've often wondered, how many members do we have on the Hog...
I reckon there are hundreds/thousands who became members and never use the Forum any more.
I occasionally read the list of members on-line and the birthday list but rarely ever recognise anyone..
I'm permanently loggedin so I guess a lot of these names are maybe non users that have never loggedout..??
Any thoughts..?
Good question Ron. I've often wondered how many of our users are still active. Currently it shows 79 users logged on.

Yes Jim, maybe logged on for ages but never logged out..??
I never log out. But I view UHH everyday. Just easier to stay logged in.
Ron, if you click on the embedded links of those names on the birthday lists, you might find - as I did a decade ago out of curiosity - that a large number haven't commented for many years (if ever). A similar random "survey" can be done with a user list search.
That's actually easier because the number of posts shows up in the sort list. Typing "Linda" in the user list gives me more than 30 results, with only six of us having commented more than 500 times. The "Ron" members appear to be a little more active, however
Not a dig but I did use the forum daily before they changed the format. Now, I look at this one section and exit. Before I enjoyed reviewing the photo and gallery section but for some reason having to go back and sort again and again is more effort than I care to spend.

I visit UHH everyday, but always log out when done.
One click to log out, two clicks to log in with a PW manager.
No big deal for me. I log out of all websites when done.
(I treat it like turning a light out when done in a room. Yea, easier to leave it on so I don't have to turn it on the next time I enter the room.)

I've been reading UHH for probably at least 20 years. Ocassionally I have something to say. Reading UHH has become a morning habit for me. One in a while something terrific appears in UHH and I want to save it. I will be 90 on May 2 and I haven't any idea how much longer I'll be reading it in the morning. All the best to UHH readers . . . wherever you are.

I just checked Kerry. There are 19 of us and not very active. I have the most posts with only 1575. I guess we're a dull bunch. LOL
Hi,
Prompted by the question and responses, I just checked and discovered that I seem to be permanently logged on. I just don't think of logging off when I shut down. I assume I am not alone; why bother to log off.
