For those who may be interested, On1 is offering Effects 2023 free if downloaded by January 31st. It normally costs $69.99. I'm playing with it now, and it's kind of interesting as a plug-in to LR Classic and PS. Just Google On1 Effects 2023 Free in January.
Fantastic! I've been using the 2019 version for years and have been procrastinating on getting a newer version!
Just downloaded... did you get the $19 presets ? A little confusing they have a spot for coupon but that is not needed. Thank you for the link
I have the 2018 Resize that I use for wrap photo framing... excellent..
I did download it but I cannot find it anywhere.

Not quite sure about all the different versions Don, but I just cancelled my LR/PS subscription and loaded ON1 Photo RAW 2024... I am 100% satisfied at this point. I mainly used ACR in PS and find everything + on the one page in ON1. I will look into effects Pkgs. offered.
On1 DL is one GB!!!
One needs a fast connection.

Wnen I downloaded it, it was in my downloads folder.
Dumb question #1: is it "oh" N1, or 'zero" N1, or "on" 1?

I have used Photoshop/Lightroom for years, finally feel comfortable with its methods of post processing and creating “art”; but I am always open to something that could possibly be even better. I downloaded and installed On1 Effects and find it interesting if not, earth shattering. As expected, its system of applying adjustments to images and layers woulf require that I have a bit of a learning curve.
My greatest disappointment, perhaps one of you can answer for me, is that the advertised capability to open PSD files along with their layers does not seem possible- - - at least not on my Mac mini with the silicone chip. The file is recognized, but is flattened into a single visible layer. This would not be a dealbreaker; but I assume I would have to give up being able to ever play with my old PSD files if I ever dropped Adobe.

In the video the speaker refers to on one.

Thanks for the link.
I’d just bought Elements 2024, first upgrade Ive done for about 5 years.
Anyway I downloaded and installed ON1 and blow me down, as it was installing, it recognised Elements 2024 was installed on my computer.
That was pretty exciting as there was no mention of Elements on the ON1 website. So, opened Elements in the Organiser and found ON1 listed under the Editor button at the bottom of the screen as an option to the Elements Editor.
Another learning curve. Love that term.
So thanks DWU2, most appreciated.

ON1 (letter o, not number)
Interesting...
After installing anything I check the registry for issues and lo and behold this is what was discovered...
For this issue and my misgiving over this program, it is now in the bin.
