INSTRUCTIONS: Post only ONE WORD: "RAW"; "JPEG"; or "BOTH".
No dissertations, no explanations as to why, no opinions, no recommendations,...
no matter how badly you feel you have to.

ANY response other than ONE of the three words will not be tallied.

Both.

I was not aware that there were cameras out there which allows you to shoot in 'PNG' format.

I'm not aware of any either.

That's what "both" is meant to imply, RAW+JPEG.
Not sometimes one, then sometimes the other.

Your original post did not specify what "BOTH" means.

Sorry, I didn't know I needed to be so explicit.
Very little deductive reasoning to figure that if one's camera is capable of RAW+JPEG that is both.

Over 95% of the respondents DID figure that out.
I keep forgetting that some have to be hand-held and can't figure things out for themselves.

How did you expect those who sometimes shoot JPEG and sometimes shoot RAW to answer? How do you know that over 95% of those who answered both meant RAW+JPEG?

I would imagine that people primarily shoot one of the three. Occasionally one or the other?
That would be a different poll for how many people "split shoot".

Deductive guestimation....
Of all the respondents that were able to pick one of the three opions, only a handful couldn't figure it out.
Or are just plain persnickety.

What about the people who don't know their camera gives them a choice???

You left the door open for idiot nit pickers. Acoarst, on UHH the idiot nit pickers dont really need an open door. They will break a window or come down the chimney.

FWIW, I just maybe verrrry slightly could quailify for the "sometimes-sometimes either or both" group. So, I will claim to be their spokes person and declare as follows:
OFFICIAL RULING AND PROCLAMATION
All of those users who sometimes do jpeg and sometimes do raw (which includes raw+jpeg) are welcome within the caucus called "BOTH" (formerly known as "Both") and are not to be discriminated against nor segregated. Hear ye, hear ye. That is all.

Hard to say much here without the nitpickers coming out of the woodwork.....
