Of what!!?? The dangers of truth speak??

Therein lies the problem. Whose version of truth is correct?

There is no absolute truth, it is all in the perspective of the speaker or witness of the event.

Much like a crime witnessed by multiple witnesses. One says he was short, another says he was tall. One says he was wearing a brown jacket and another says it was dark green and so on. They are all telling the truth, as they saw it, modified by their beliefs, biases, and other human perceptions.

Eyewitnesses are known to police and attorneys as being unreliable. Therefore they can use them any way they see fit to make the case they wish to make.

Sarcasm is lost on this one. No major award will given to you. Sorry.

In the grand scheme of life, getting banned from UHH must be viewed in the same vein as getting kicked out of Walmart for violating the dress code. Annoying, yes. Worth complaining about, not really. It's a good story to tell the grand kids or share with you buddies over a cold beer. That's about all.

Well slap my forehead and kick my butt. I took it literally not realizing you were being sarcastic. Years ago, I had brain surgery to remove the sarcastic bone. I’m so sorry. NO CUPIE DOLL FOR ME! I guess I’ll have to enjoy my Dill Pickle!!

If there is no absolute truth, then the statement that there is no absolute truth , isn't true.

If there is no absolute truth then that statement isnt true.

Maybe he was allowed one topic before incarceration?

That's the problem with written words. It's hard to convey subtle meaning without relying on eye roll emojis. No cupie doll, but you can select any prize from the bottom shelf.

You were not PC enough and perhaps actually told the truth about an issue.
That is an immediate grounds for being banned.

Being NOT PC enough is a consideration to be dealt with not only here on the UHH but other social media sites as well. The detecting algorithm(s) is/are driven by position of the developer on the subject matter. The UHH rules are pretty clear but it's easy to put your toe over the line with some of them.

Take it as a sign.

It would be great if folks focused their energy on photography centric topics. There are many other forums better suited for those other topics. Contributors such as yourself openly share a great deal of technical knowledge and photographs which I find very useful and enjoyable. I thank you and the others for that.

There are nearly 50 sections on UHH devoted to photography. Click on "all sections" at the bottom of this page for the full list.

Why care if some "focus their energy" on the chit chat section or even The Attic? All sections except main discussion can be hidden from your view by selecting "unsubscribe." It's easy to avoid the "other topics" and focus on photography exclusively.

Again, in the perception of the speaker. Again my belief in the lack of absolute truth is only in my perception, just as your statement that my statement is untrue is in your perception.

A circular philosophical statement that proves itself. If there is no absolute truth then any statement made is untrue, which is also untrue which then proves there is no truth in any statement.

Thanks for the tip. I don’t care where some focus their energy, I just don’t care to wade through posts that are mean spirited but I think you mostly solved it. I thought UHH was a site for photography when I joined but it is obviously much more.
