What size memory cards do you normally use?

I also use 128gb cards, It seems that so far it is the preferred size based on the responses up to now. I rarely come anywhere near filling it, but it nice to know I have the extra space if I need it, especially if I decide to capture some video.

On the Sony A7rii and Sony RX100 mk 6 I have Sandisk Extreme 128 GB cards in both. I download after a shoot and I don't delete. When the cards are full I will reformat them. I carry 32s' as a backup.

I use 64gb cards. I'd hate to lose all the images on a 256gb if it got corrupted. I also keep & file my cards. I only take photos for myself and my family so I don't have big back-up storage. (I probably should.) I was recently gone for a month to Britain and Ireland, and that included an 8 day photo workshop in Scotland. Didn't quite fill up 2 64gb cards shooting RAW. I did use my iphone 13 Pro Max a good bit because I am trying to decide if I can leave the big camera & lenses home on the next trip. I now have an iphone 15 Pro Max but still not sure if I can go without the Sony mirrorless.

So glad I just took my 18-200 (on the camera) and a 50 to Iceland.....
I don't take a crapload of pictures either.

8 and 16gb cards usually suit me in my D3400, D90 and D80. 2 and 4gb cards for the older Nikons because of their limited capacity.

16 gb card gives me almost 1500 pics, don't want to spend hours on the computer si I usually usr 1gb or 512mb cards

I use the same size cards. They read/write fast enough and hold plenty of images for the scenic photography I take.

Your picture reminds me of several old Kodak cameras I inherited from my mother who traveled to Europe in her youth and shot B&W 120 film. I still have the cameras and her negatives (and pictures).

I have two 128k in the camera I have four 32 gig cards on the desk that dont fit anything. I sold the camera and gave them two 32's ....

Late to the game. I got a screaming deal on 2 cards from Delkin of 1 Tb each, that’s 1000 GB. It holds about 25-30,000 images taken RAW with a Z 8 at 45k Mp. I had no idea it would hold that many pictures. I will never fill them on a trip. Before, I used a 128 GB or 256 GB card and always felt it was ample for any trip. I just took 10,000 images on a trip and would have been fine with a 512 GB card.
