Nice . . . I might have chosen a different color, but it is a great paint job.
Nice shot. I can just imagine it with a few coats of Candy Apple Red and clear coated.
Kim is the master of car photography. Regarding the paint, I don't think I'm making this up, this car might have 3 or more coats of the color and 5 coats of clear. Then one sands the clear layer with fine and finer grade sandpaper. A good buffing and voila, what you see here. It's a ton of work, not to be undertaken lightly. But it sure looks great. By the way, some of the ultra fine sandpaper, 5000 grit for example, feels like suede and is expensive, $5 a sheet or more. Or was the last time I looked several (many?) years ago.
All that sanding eliminates any orange peel effect.
Another beautiful background for this car, but, for me, the color for the car just doesn't work for me.
