Does anyone have actual knowledge about this combo - will it work?

Please, no guesses, just real knowledge. I already have the lens and the adapter A to E for my 𝜶6500. I have the LA-EA4 adapter which enables auto focus on this lens. I also have the LA-EA3 which allows manual focus but I want the AF to work.

I understand how TC's work, just want to know if this TC works with this A mount lens BEFORE I buy one.

Thanks.

Still got that lens, used it a lot on my A900, never could get it to focus with a TC, it tried, but would never lock on, just kept searching.

You don't need more than 750mm focal length...you have that already.

Spend your coin towards something more useful.

I just knew someone would ignore my clear request to stick to actual information.

You got one answer...it's a bit of an inane question. You aren't moving your hobby in the right direction...if you are looking to improve that is.

The question is very clear and limited. I don’t need help deciding how to pursue photography after more than 60 years of doing it.
