You're right about it being old.

I like that stone tower.
It's high on a hill over looking picturesque, coastal, Camden, Maine, and every Christmas, volunteers put a huge star on the top - visible for miles around. Volunteers sign up for "duty" - driving up the mountain, no matter the weather - to refuel the generator that keeps the star lit. Quite a production.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiSA3O15eTw is the story of how they do it - a 4-5 minute segment. It's very interesting.

I'll take 2/5-10 Think I sent you the topic and pict. That's pretty much the only week I can host next month.
Thank you, cmc4214, for hosting a challenge - looking forward to it. Appreciate you and your posts very much. It will be a good challenge for sure.
Thank you so much to all who participated, looked, commented. The images posted were windows into not only some of our favorite photo subjects and techniques, but also glimpses of the important people, places and events in our lives. I treasure those tidbits as much as the remarkable images.
My finale would be 2 of my favorite landscapes from 2023. The first was on a humid foggy morning with a hot sun piercing the fog. The hues were soft and golden. I chose to finish it with an oil paint PS filter. The second was the first landscape I took with my iPhone 15 pro max. It was a Fall evening and the sky was multicolored and the air so clear it was possible to see the mountains many miles away.
