I thought it was just me. Anything with more than 50 words I figure isn’t worth reading.
There’s plenty of things with more than 50 words that deserve reading. Literature, history, your tax return and the information that comes with prescription medicines.
No I don’t reread the information on current medications but I do on new ones. I like grapefruit and it renders some medications ineffective.
I don’t know if because of my age but I don’t like to read long posts. I‘m 86. I know people like to give a full overview of what they are saying but it’s better to try to condense your thoughts before posting.
It's not just the long posts; it's the one huge paragraph posts that makes me click to the next article. I agree, though, that some people give too much unnecessary information.

You miss the whole point. I have been known to make the odd too long post. But the intention is one of these - People then shouldn't want to ask, nor would people need to ask, but most importantly I don't want to be bothered with followup to anybody.
