The left thinks so, because not believing it would admit that Joe Biden is the worst president and they foolishly voted for him.

Sorry, I can't agree with you on that. I come from a dirt poor farm family. Dad died leaving Mom without much and 7 kids to raise. If not for every single government program we could get, we'd still be poor or poorer. There's something besides the aid programs that impacted the societal changes.

I’m glad the aid allowed your mom to survive her hardship. I too was dirt poor although I had two parents. Still we struggled (lived without power or plumbing at times but I remember on more than one occasion my folks stating they would rather starve than take aid and they were Roosevelt Dems. The money isn’t the only contributor but throwing money at every perceived problem and requiring zero accountability, doing away with or diluting meritocracy allowing much of the population to feel aggrieved and blame others for their shortcomings, dissolution of the nuclear family, acceptance of abhorrent behavior and policies that promote the same. I could go on for a long time but will leave it at that as the subject is immigrants.

You've hit on the key issue - accountability. With all of the technology available, the USA is still working with state by state U/E systems, ancient IRS systems, and government programs not able to do simple fraud detection. It's embarrassing to learn how archaic the systems are.

Well, most people have managed to do better. Which is the problem; shit jobs still need to be done.

So we allow or prefer to let people who will do shit jobs cross the border for the convenience of those that are to good to do those jobs. I see a lot of prejudice in that statement, unintended I am sure, it also hearkens back to the days of Slavery.

The US has lost some of its values. We worked menial jobs because we wanted "better".

That's just ridiculous. Are you willing to? It's not a question of being "too good", it's a question of being over qualified. There is no prejudice; people are willing to come to this country with nothing and start at the bottom.

The only connection to Slavery is that illegal immigrants have fewer rights than citizens. And if they remain illegal, they are stuck and subject to exploitation. But that's not an issue with people coming here, it's an issue with how they are treated once they are here.

We invest a lot of money in education; making educated people work menial jobs is a waste of resources.

And, if all work is "valuable" (see your link), then all workers should be compensated justly. More specifically, at least to the extent that they can afford to live where they work.

It's your last paragraph that hits at one of the causes of lack of respect and appreciation for all work. Wages always lag prices in inflationary times, but the increasing production/wage gap has workers at all levels demoralized. Housing prices here have pretty much exceeded affordability by middle class workers.
Home ownership and it's accompanying generational wealth appears out of reach for so many.

One of the consequences of that is outward growth of high density complexes which add extra burden on infrastructures for roads, water, sewer, healthcare, etc.

Americans before we incentivized being lazy-assed underachievers who don’t have self-actualization in their lexicon!

This is pretty much what the Left has said for years now, the illegal aliens do jobs the rest of us won't do. But when the border patrol raids different job areas they find illegal aliens making some pretty good money as construction workers etc. The Left forgets Americans used to do whatever jobs were necessary to make a living.

Immigrants from long ago are NOT the immigrants of today. Back when America had a number of immigrants flocking to our borders those people were hard working and wanted to make America their new home, wanted to work hard to become proud Americans. These days immigrants come not to be proud of being an American but to get the freebies the Left offers. We don't see many court ceremonies of immigrants becoming American citizens anymore. Immigrants don't give a damn about American citizenship, only what they can get.

Tell us why ILLEGAL ALIENS should have any rights in America other than being treated fairly as they are shipped back to their home country. It is ILLEGAL for them to be here in the first place.

Interesting that you choose to ignore the law(s) you don’t like

.
Asylum seekers can enter America anywhere they want . That includes border between entry control points

And
The second they ask for asylum they are no longer illegal , they are legal as these awaiting adjudication of their asylum request

As usual you are a LIAR or are so ignorant you cannot see the truth. What law(s) am I ignoring? Please point them out for us. I posted word for word the immigration law that says people shall not cross the American border without permission. If you have read what I posted then how can you tell me/us that is not a valid law. Does it not say pretty clearly, nobody gets to enter America without permission. If they do they can be shipped back. If there is a 2nd or 3rd violation, being found in America AGAIN, penalties can be imprisonment. Now don't be an ASS. Did you read that part or not? Answer the question lil denny. You aren't good at answering questions but do answer this one. Am I wrong? Did I post incorrectly?

I am not ignoring your claim of asylum seekers being able to claim asylum. But your law does tend to go a bit different than the law I posted doesn't it?

One important point to consider, millions of these illegal aliens are not going the route of being asylum seekers. They are not asking for asylum at all but simply crossing the border illegally. They are basically saying, FK the American border laws, we are going to cross anyway. From the law I posted doesn't that seem to fit exactly the immigration law they are violating?

You call me an ASSHOLE and yet it is you who refuses to discuss these things. Anybody who doesn't agree with you even after presenting valid evidence to their claim is an ASSHOLE to you. Pretty limited in your opinions aren't you? It seems as it is your way or the highway. Nothing else is to be considered.
