Glad to hear it! :) I was diagnosed, myself, about a month or month and a half ago with basal cell carcinoma on my skin between my nose and left eye. The first surgeon I saw scheduled me for Mohs and the next day for reconstruction of the mess. The dermatologist I saw a few days later one floor up at Washington University offered me a different solution (I actually begged for one) and have been on a chemotherapy pill that Medicaid is covering (at over $10.6k for a 30-day supply!!!). I've been on it for a little under a month and have my first checkup on the 24th...I see, IMO quite a bit of improvement already (not as scabby). Also, although it may not make a difference in the long run, I set a new personal record yesterday, and am still going strong(?) of four days in a row without a high or low glucose reading (I'm an IDT2 diabetic - pills plus insulin pump).

GREAT NEWS!
A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. After three operations and treatment (and six months out from the last operation) I went in today for a checkup. As of now, I am cancer free. I had been dreading this appointment.
What a great way to start the New Year. Praise the Lord.
Congratulations, continued good health!
