But to portray it as a bigger thing than it is is disingenuous at best is nothing more misleading

I also get tired of hearing the Asylum argument, the Idea that you just need to claim Asylum and get a free pass for years waiting for a court appearance.

Yes, and we have plenty of them, don't need 10 million more.

Not enough here to match the housing demand.

Those Laborers are taking away jobs from American Tax payers, the Myth is that Americans won't do those jobs, the truth is that undocumented workers have depressed the prevailing wages to a point that it is more profitable to stay home.

Not true. Employers are looking for any and all warm bodies who are reliable. Job openings are still all over the place. We have Smith & Wesson, multiple boat manufacturers, meat packing plants, EV battery plants, infrastructure projects who are petitioning for work permits for these workers. Wages are increasing due to lack of labor supply.

I do believe that federal law requires that Asylum seekers are to remain in custody until an adequate screening is done to determine if there is merit for further adjudication, that's not happening.

It's because the rules and processes haven't kept up with the numbers - they need to be changed requiring Congress to act.

Yes, it is and efforts are ongoing to make the asylum determination happen quicker.

Instead of sending thousands of agents to protect our border we should be sending thousands of Immigration judges to process Asylum cases. If that happens we should see the number of true asylum cases dwindle as there is no chance of admission without true cause and no long term free pass to plunder or resources while waiting a court date.

I'm advocating and in touch with TN officials to work out a cost analysis for USA to put offices in each State Dept. office to process people in their own country before getting here. Lots of obstacles, but we're committed to the belief that it's the only way to formalize and manage a migration beyond any individual country's control. Go to the source.

Thankfully It appears that taking the problem out of the South West and transporting it all over the nation has awakened the people that believed it was just to much do about nothing, till it showed up in their backyard.

Read the last para in you link( based on numbers from a private. Anti immigration. Study)
It states cost of illegal immigration to all government levels - federal, state and local of $182 B with tax revenue of $31B. ( and that doesn’t even consider the contribution to economy is terms of secondary spending and the secondary jobs created )
That equates to $151 B at all levels of govt.
I’m just saying trying to tieillegal immigration to nation debt is total unfounded .

Then quit saying it..,we are tired of hearing it

Maybe you should let more hard workers over the border.

Is Canada ready to take a few hundred a day, or whatever number would be the same percentage of your population as the US?
