I am interested in experiences with Anti Noise Software. I have been using ON1 No Noise and the software that now is included in Lightroom Classic. They both work fine, although I have a preference, for most pictures, for ON1No Noise. Have you tried these? How do these compare with others out there?
The updates have been coming rapidly, and I presume will continue.

I was looking at Topaz AI as I replace software on my new machine...Thanks for mentioning ON1 No Noise.

I use denoise in both Topaz Photo AI and Lightroom Classic. My Topaz AI is a couple months out of renewal so it may not be as good as a fresh annual.

I've not tried to do a careful side by side comparison. My experience seems to be that some images will work a little better with one and other images with the other. Topaz AI will offer a couple automated options on top of the denoise that will sometimes add to the repair.

ON1 No Noise is impressive. I am also interested in settings that people use on Lightroom and ON1 No Noise. I find the sharpening features typically make the photos look unnatural and only use sharpening at very low settings, when I use it at all.

I have, use, and highly recommend Topaz Photo AI. I can not truthfully speak the other systems mentioned.
Best Wishes,

Edit: My results are good enough to make jumping ship (IMHO) meaninglessness.

I use and love Topaz Denoise AI, and I also have the LR denoise. As long as you learn to balance the sliders you can retain all your detail while getting rid of the noise in Topaz Denoise AI. LR is almost as good, but I still prefer the interface and results with Topaz.

Cheers

I use Topaz denoise/sharpen but have used NIK collection Dfine2 which does a solid job.

I prefer topaz though.

I also use ON1 Denoise/Sharpness that’s embedded in the ON1 PR program. I find it does a good job but I usually have to dial the effect back before moving to other editing. ON1 also recommends you adjust noise and sharpness first and not after other post processing.

I think EVERYONE can agree on what getting overly antsy with the sharpness slider can do... sometimes we are all a little guilty.

I use On1, also. I do the denoise and sharpen as the first step. It works well for me.

Instead of editing my pics to look sharp I edit them so that they don't look soft. By the time they're starting to look sharp it probably means you've already gone too far.

I have used ON1 NoNoise, Affinity Photo's noise removal, Topaz De-Noise AI, DxO PureRAW, Lightroom Classic's noise removal, and the noise removal in Photoshop. All of them work, it is more a matter of personal preference as far as which is better or best. I normally use ON1 NoNoise and occasionally DxO PureRAW or Topaz DeNoise AI.

I second this opinion. Topaz Photo AI is an excellent tool, very easy to use.
