So I am looking at an item on Amazon. It states the seller is Adorama. I have never purchased anything from Adorama. Free shipping and free returns via Amazon is a benefit. Would anyone share their experience please. I did a search on Adorama but the posts were old. Thanks.
They are highly rated- I have had good experiences with them.

Trust Adorama, treat Amazon as the pariah it is!

I’ve purchased from them several times and never had any issues. Adorama and B&H are my go-to businesses for my photography and computer purchases.

Why not deal with Adorama directly and skip Amazon?
Amazon has free returns...no return shipping cost and no restocking fee.

Please accept that I am not picking on you. I'm just interested in language and usage. Why do you (and many others) start a sentence with "So?" Is it regional, age specific, or other? Is it like the "Eh" in Canada?
Adorama is the second largest USA Camera retailer, next to B&H.
They have been around almost as long, and are used by pros and hobbyists alike. I personally have used them for decades with perfect experiences.
Cheers

Can't go wrong with them.

That policy has been gradually changing. Too many people were using Amazon as a lending service. Buy a dress, wear it to a party and send it back. Buy a camera you read about, take a few shots on a one week cruise and send it back.

I confess to having “one” negative experience with Adorama. I bought a new Sirui tripod from them direct a few years ago that was advertised to carry a Sirui 5 (?) year warranty. It was being sold at a nice discount compared to other merchants including Sirui. When I went to register it on Sirui’s website, I got a reply email stating that Adorama was not an authorized dealer and they would not warranty it. I went to Adorama’s website and reread their ad, then called them. The rep who answered the call apologized for the “misunderstanding” and said Adorama would personally warrant it for two years or I could ship it back for a refund at their expense. I chose the latter and bought from B&H for the same price. Looking into it later, I determined that Adorama had been selling some Sirui products at an unauthorized discount. Years ago, Adorama also received some unwanted attention for shady business practices in their used equipment division. All that said, I have bought from them since without issue.
