Really love the first one. How'd you get the kid in that deep pile of leaves?
Please tell me how in the wide world did you do that to num. two?I am old school and would have to airbrush that. I want to get back into photography but only own a point and shoot camera that I found in the trash. The different cards confuses me. Can you or anyone help me where I can go for help. This forum is very educational, but I need hands on work.

It's called Selective Color or Color Select, depending on the camera you use. I thinks it's also known as Color Pop.
I have it on my Nikon D 5100 & Canon Sd 1400 P&S. If your camera has the ability, you'll have to practice with the settings.
Basically, your taking a black & white picture and selecting 1 to 3 colors to be in the picture and a range of intensities for each color.
You can also do it with Photoshop by "desaturating your picture," and selecting areas you want to put the color back into.
Nice effect.
