In sci-fi, smart but psychotic computers are common.

- There was HAL 9000 in 2001, A Space Odyssey, which turned psycho in the very end!

However, ChatGPT and other LLM-based generative AI 'bots' and their hallucinations are not fiction.

All of the above is why I’m NOT in favor of AI. Too late now. The cat is out of the bag. Even if we tried to control AI, the “evil geniuses” will find a way to use it to manipulate things to their advantage.
