The top image was taken on my usual morning dawnish walk, with the pigeon lady (background, red stroller) doing her thing. She creates an almost Hitchcockian atmosphere.
The second was taken at noon time while I was walking slowly to lunch with my hip replacement recovering wife.
Even though I haven't smoked in over 60 years, the smell of a good cigar is not abhorrent to me, so I asked the gentleman what he was smoking. He told me that it was a Rocky Patel, and it was so expensive that he could only afford one every two days.
Learned something, so the day definitely was a good one.
Particularly like the first one, well done.
Both of these shots are eye-catching in a very different way. I keep enjoying your NYC street work, so keep them coming, David.
