Of course it does.

ridiculous to the minority of idiots in the world. The easiest most simplest explanation of life is a creator.

You have to bend your mind into a pretzel with too much unproven fantasy to try to make this “simple” explanation work.

And it is such an anthropocentric world view, you might as well be a flat earther.

You tell us, "The eternal punishment thing just doesn't make sense to me from a "loving" god.". That doesn't make sense to me either BUT Eternal Life from a loving God does make sense to me. If non Christians are wrong they have lost everything.

I can't just will myself to believe something without proof in case it might be true. Wouldn't a god know if you were just hedging your bets? And what if some other religion is the true one?

Exactly, the simplest explanation of the two is a creator.

But even if you accept that there was a creator it's a long stretch from there to knowing if any particular religion is true.

God does not exist. No statement of fact can be made about God. Belief in that which has no factual basis is what is irrational.

I’ve read all the comments and it seems that the question seems to be. Does GOD exist? I would have to say most assuredly he does. How ever I am aware that much that which is taught today by churches, TV preachers, and the like is half-truths, lies, or false doctrines. For those who seem to believe that he doesn’t exist. I want to ask how many times have you read the bible? Did you ever seek HIM? If you haven’t It’s explains why you believe HE doesn’t exist. Therefore my advise to you would be try reading the bible you think is fantasy and seek HIM diligently with your heart. If you do you will find HIM. If you chose not to seek Him. Then continue to live in your fantasy world of lies. That's my two cents. I will not respond to any further comments. Have a great day!

So what leads you to that conclusion? (Ignoring the fact that if gender-related pronouns are considered applicable, it should probably be 'she' since most gods are creators). the Bible is not the only basis of religion out there.

Dennis if you are "believing just in case", then you are in the position of the person who gets innoculated against the chickenpox "just in case". It seems to me that the better argument for someone in your position is not that you haven't lost anything if God does not exist, but that if God does not exist, you and all the rest of us have lost everythlng.

Sorta like the G-spot. It never existed until someone discovered it. Is that seriously the logic that you are using?

We’re not talking about religion we’re talking about a creator whomever that may be.

The OP's post was certainly religious, and a very specific religion.

But the post itself goes well beyond that question, and so has much of the discussion.

The heart is the wrong organ to use to seek knowledge. You want that warm fuzzy feeling of an anthropocentric answer to the meaning of life.

I am relieved, however, that you won’t be responding to further comments. I do have limited tolerance for jibberish.

The book of Isaiah refers to the righteous as walking over the ashes of the wicked.

And you may be 100% correct. I don't know. But If possible when I die I will let you know somehow OR see you and wave hello in Heaven.

Ashes would certainly make sense and refer to the fire in hell.

Well, you are wrong. But have fun. At least, whatever fun your religious leaders deem acceptable.

And you may be right. But as I said, if I am wrong then then nothing lost for me. But if I am correct then as a Christian who completely believes in Jesus Christ as my savior I will have everlasting life. I won't say for you because that is up to God to make that decision, not me. I am a sinner and always will be but I do not choose to take on God or His almighty power.

My religious leader is Jesus Christ.
