Picasso did a similar two-face arrangement... Ronda was a model for polymer-clay sculpture period [Book not published], For sculpturing one takes photos from many angles. A lot of playing around with my many plugins and stand-alone programs. JIXIPIX Oil Paint was beneficial. [ all on sale for 50%] The Texture, rough leather, was from Effects in Paintshop Pro 2023.
Pablo Picasso's image that I used as a stimulus:
PICASSO IMAGE "BLUE"
You see to be on a roll with your creativity. Nicely done.
Thank you Frank and Curmudgeon ... This is the 9th tuning of the same image... do, then look it for a while... redo... and let it get cold, and see and fix the problems... and at times OOPS, and start several steps back. Mine is someone I knew, Picasso's looks too manufactured.
I agree with Frank, you’re in a very creative period Don. Keep it going as long as you can, we love seeing the results. This one I prefer to the Picasso lookalike, as you infer, it’s more realistic. Not just the textures you chose, which are perfect, but keeping the profile eye real helps too. I know the full-front/profile mix was part of his signature look but it doesn’t quite come off here. Your’s is more attractive. It’s never too late to become famous Don!
Both of these are excellent!
Highly engaging result with those colors, textures and pov.
Chuckled at Dave's comment, "It's never too late to become famous." Good advice and observation

Reviewing life, I have walked past many open doors at least to becoming rich. Copper on the surface of yarn during the production of tire yarn... I have a patent in 1969, [sold to my employer as required for $1] did I think, oh, gee, in fine yarn for socks it would subdue fungus... Nope, not a thought! Simple premade socks soaked in Copper Oleate soap is just one example. Now Copper... is a trademark for such products, not mine!
"Highly engaging result with those colors, textures and pov." It educated me to the fact that simple photo overlay with Layers is easy compared to this image creature.
My difficulties with this image have encouraged me to investigate "Drawing Tablet for Photo Editing." Like many tech things sophistication has increased and the price decreased. Lots of reading before pressing the "buy now" button. Advice from those having experience good or bad would be appreciated.

I will pass your compliment on to Picasso during the next Séance ... Had an interesting chat with Harry Houdini on Halloween as per his schedule. I was born in 1936 and thus have a special connection with Harry. "In 1936, Houdini's "Final Séance" was held on the roof of the Knickerbocker Hotel in Los Angeles. "
Thank you Veralisa. I do hope you are recovering .. There is a fitting song title for most situations
