It's a good, caring parent who loves their children enough to want them to make wonderful adults. That can't happen if they allow tantrums when they don't get what they want. (Example: Menendez (sp) brothers).
I was in a store one day when a dad told his son NO to what he wanted and the son spit on him. He did nothing. Heaven only knows what that child may do to him someday when he says no again.
