Eliminate Windows "Sign in" Tab?

Can I eliminate the Microsoft "Sign in" tab on the left side of the Tabs bar? It appeared after I tried to sign in, which I can't do, anyway.

I too have never encountered the "Sign In" tab nor would I ever click on it and sign in since it could represent an attempt to get you to give your sign-in credentials to some hacker. Simply closing the tab should solve the problem and if it doesn't then if it were me I would reset my browser to take it back to its original state. Which browser are you using?

My viewing area is 11.5"x26.5". So I keep my Task Bar on the left in a vertical orientation.
The tabs sit rite next to it with no windows thing-a-ma-jiggy in it. The Windows Start icon does appear at the top of the Task Bar always.Dec 14, 2023 06:59:49 #

This appeared after MS wanted me to sign in. I didn't, so "sign in" appeared up there for a while. Right now, my little round picture is there. Clicking on it gets me the MS "Wallet."

Right, and I guess it's called the Tabs Bar. I thought a Tabs Bar was a bar where you could run up an infinite tab. 😂
