Two is my favorite of the three, with three a close second. As someone posted earlier, I miss the left front tire of the truck. Really neat overall. :D :D :D

I think the images are very interesting artwork. That being said, they have been altered so much I don't think photography even has a roll in the final image.

I have to agree this is more of using photoshop them using a camera.
But I like the end results.

eyeart, I think these are way cool. The truck is my least favorite, but you nailed it with the others.

#2 & #3 are my favorites...lots for the eye to savor and enjoy.
Foreground and background in #1 seem to compete with each other, tho each is nice in itself.

The foreground and background numbers one and two don't seem to work really well together. The technique doesn't seem to be too good, either. But number three looks very very good in terms of technique and in terms of composition and color

You are correct. The images are top notch. I started this simple illustration by obtaining various shots of mice, but I wouldn't call the final product photographic. Oh, by the way, Merry Christmas to all of the Hogs out there. I hope every one of you has a wonderful Christmas. And keep posting your abstracts and variation of. They are great.

That is one of the things i like about abstract it can mean incomplete as a whole gives way to imagination for the viewer to complete or not in thier on prference. Like them all, did great.

"Abstract" is not a matter of distorting the common to make it "significant", or clashing with what a viewer expects. A "thing" is just a thing and presented in distorted form, it is still just a thing.
Striking fire in the viewers mind comes of illuminating an image with meanings you may, or may not, have intended.
When an image ignites fun, fantasy or fear, associates with any part of the broad array of meanings a viewer may already nurture, or something that takes a viewer beyond the fringes of the expected or the known...it has obtained value regardless of how hard it might be to define.
It is the ability to inspire meanings that makes an abstract work. And while you have gotten out of the norm with your nice photos, you have yet to bring it home with a well wrapped package that motivates, stimulates, meanings for the viewer to chew at...

Good start. But keep going!
