I too have printed on textured watercolor paper... the ink spreads differently. The pulling in at the edges suggests you used a watercolor art effect process. All together, a very interesting effect.

I like this effect. I want to use it to cfeate an old western style bar painting. Someone very near and dear to me will be my model. This has been a plan of mine for a couple of years. I need to make it happen. I want to build a scale size bar like the Bucket O' Blood in Virginia City Nevada and the photo would hang over the bar. Thanks for the insight.
