Excellent set. The first is a wall-hanger.

If you can't see the picture, you can't take it. Here are three photos that I could see but had to wait for. I have been perusing my trips and found these. I can remember each one even though they were taken several years ago.

Wonderful. You make me want to go back. Funny, my guide just called me a few moments ago. Something is aligning!

All three are great images. #1 and #2 are great compositions that obviously required much planning and patience and luck to capture. But #3 is a story in progress. Who won, leopard or antelope? After getting the shot, I might have whistled to give the antelope a heads up. But then again, my supper wasn't on the line.

The cheetah didn't get the gazelle. The chase was amazing and impossible to photograph with the long lens I was using. The zig-zags of the chase were lightning fast - a wide angle might have caught them.

I think you have definitely captured “the decisive moment” in all three images.

Excellent job!!

Thanks for responding. I thought the way the cheetah was sneaking up that it was the end of the hunt, but it was only the beginning. Must have been quite an experience to watch even if you were not able to photograph it.
