Winter Forest, UK.
The UK has had some snow showers, only a few inches but cold -4c. Today we were walking in Hamsterley Forest, (edge of the Pennines), County Durham, UK, usually busy with people walking, mountain biking, horse riding and running. Quiet today in the forest due to the cold and icy conditions.
We were last at this forest in the summer and the sweat dripped from us, today we did not sweat.
I know to our Northern European and American friends this may not be much snow or cold but for us in the UK it is.
Frozen Pond.
Forest Trail.
Really nice. Do be careful driving.
That road looks crunchy. Cold but beautiful.
These are very nice photos.
Anything below 60 F is freezing, and white stuff is unthinkable. But then, I'm a desert rat.
