As a singer I sing at many funerals & I was recently asked by a funeral director to play & sing at a graveside service for a homeless man.
He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper's cemetery out in the country.
As I was not familiar with the area, I got lost.
I finally arrived an hour late and saw that the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight.
There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch.
I felt bad and apologized to the men for being late. I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place.
I didnโ€™t know what else to do, so I started to sing.
The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I sang from my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends.
As I sang โ€œAmazing Graceโ€, the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together.
When I finished, I packed up my keyboard and started for my car. Though my head hung low, my heart was full.
As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, โ€œIโ€™ve never seen nothinโ€™ like that before and Iโ€™ve been putting in septic tanks for twenty years.โ€
Apparently, I'm still lostโ€ฆ.

A few more seasons to be presented on a Friday, mostly from the archives, and several old slide conversions.

Each is incredible ๐ŸŽฏ๐ŸŽฏ๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽฏ๐ŸŽฏ - and I am going to be nosey now and ask you how much greens fees were in Monterey, which is absolutely one of my favorite places from about ten trips up and down the California coast I took years ago

I want to thank all who have looked at my stuff with approval.

We all like to have our efforts appreciated.

Dropping in a few more.

I'm really enjoying all the creativity and skills on display here.

I decided to use the same location for all four seasons. This location is my "back yard" and all shots were taken within about 150 feet from my back door. I had to go back eight years to get the winter picture. The rest are from the last three years.
