Very talented group -- thanks for posting! The drummer was especially good and the band leader was a very beautiful woman. Judging that they all were between 20 and 35 it is doubtful any are still alive today. Amazing how we can enjoy looking at and enjoying something that is so long past.

I've enjoyed watching that video many times. Viola Smith was an excellent drummer and Francis Carroll was beautiful.

There is a movie about a bunch of wayward Japanese or Korean women that were forced into a swing band, and the concert at the end was fabulous. Anyone know of that movie? I can't find it.
