I was playing around with these photos last night. I used Elements 9 and Fotosketcher. The horse photo is our horse trainer showing our gelding in an AQHA trail class. The deer was photographed in Touolmne Meadows in Yosemite Nat. Park.

 I think you real made them stand out.
the white around the edges of the first one i think take all the concentration away from the horse. it seems very washed out. and same with the deer having the color of the grass and trees would make it look more real. but i really like the positions you got the shots in! (hope i wasnt harsh!)

very unique look. I assume that its fotosketcher? I like it has to me a kind of norman rockwell feel to it. post more please.
The backgroung is Fotosketcher. I combined the two images in Elements and adjusted the opacity on the original so some of the backgroung sketching shows thru.
Honestly I have a hard time enjoying photos processed extensively in photoshop - you've done an outstanding job with these. This is what it should look like when an artist finds a style and uses it - great work.
Looks like one of these days I'm gonna buy this software
as of yesterday I saw the sam effect done with old cars
and all I got is OUTSTANDING WORK here. Bravo Bv
really cool affect, but I think the affect works better in the second shot. In the first shot, I just feel like it just makes it look like the sky is really blown out and overexposed. but in the second you can still see details in the grass so you can tell more that it was done intentionally. both great shots tho!
