We had a massive storm here in Adelaide earlier this week, flooding in the CBD and other areas as well as strong winds and large hail. We were lucky here and never sustained any damage.
We have a beautiful Double Delight Rose bush in our garden and before all the roses got destroyed by the storm, Lorraine went out and cut them off so we could enjoy them a bit longer.

Yes, she is...we're lucky here, I always say we're in a "weather shadow"...we miss all the really bad stuff...

Good idea. It sure made for a nice image, Ron. We are expecting severe weather tomorrow night. I hope we miss it like you did although we really need the rain.

Thanks Ken, yes, we need it badly as well but not quite as heavy next time..a gentle soaking rain would do me just fine.

Glad you save a few Ron. Do you normally get late season storms?

We get the occasional Spring changeable weather but this is not a common occurrence...the last storm like this was earlier in the year...
