Sympathies for you!!! There is going to be a good deal of healing process to take place ahead of you. Possibly a good bit of itching that will go along later on as the tissues affected by that internal bruising/hemorrhaging go through the process of returning to a more normal state.

Did you have clothing with a somewhat snug, elastic cuff sleeve above the elbow that caused the pattern and bruising/internal bleeding change there?

Kinda looks like there was more mechanism of injury involved than only the impact of a fall.

Hello dancers, All I remember is coming conscious on the pavement, lying there for a bit to feel if I had any
broken bones. Thinking back, I know that I passed out and fell, which means I had no natural reflex to break my
fall. I went down with a thud!! My arm and my head hit the hardest, luckily I have a hard head! malvin

Lucky you did not break a hip....although the arm looks horrific... heal soon!

I can't imagine injuries like that from a simple black out and falling from a standing position, to the ground. There has to be more to the story. Do you know where you were the moment you passed out? You must have been high up somewhere, not just standing on the pavement and dropping to the floor. Wishing you a painless as possible and speedy recovery.

Difficult to imagine falling on your arm and creating that much damage. Without you providing motor specific details I’m wondering if this is not a joke.

Good morning Dustie, The fall happened at 9am on a weekend. By mid afternoon the arm swelled so much that I
went to ER. There they wrapped the arm tightly to stop the swelling, but then my hand turned purple. That's when
they removed the wrapping and said that I had to get it lanced. Had to go to another hospital that had a surgeon to lance my arm. When I checked in at that hospital, they rushed me to their Trauma people. There they put me into
a head and neck brace and put me to sleep for surgery. Cannot explain the looks of my upper arm near my shoulder.
