I got away for several hours last week and visited a local tourist spot just 40 minutes from Seattle (Snoqualmie Falls). It was clear outside our place (where fog often settles in our lower area) but once I got over a nearby hill, I could barely see the bottom. It was foggy from then on and was foggy when I got to the Falls. First, I walked to an area following the river and looking to the Falls from below. Then, I went to the main Lookout area. These are the pictures I was able to get. I was hoping to get some really nice pictures of this beautiful place to submit this Sunday.
I was at the Upper Falls for about 45 minutes. I couldn't believe how quickly the fog would roll in and then away a bit. There were times, it changed so fast, I set my settings and then couldn't take a picture because the fog had changed (mostly further hiding them).
