Today (22-nov-2022) at Himatangi Beach, New Zealand.
Kind of looks like a scene from Planets of the Apes.

Your photo reminds me of a vacation we took in New Zealand a few years ago. My wife and I were staying with our son and his family in Hamilton. We took a trip to the beach near Raglan. I was wandering around with my camera stuck to my hand, looking for photo-ops, when I heard the familiar sound of hoof beats.
From out of nowhere this young girl and her horse came tearing along the beach. I never had time to compose a shot or even think about camera settings, I just clicked like crazy as she flew by. I managed this one, but got the best one out of focus, it had all 6 feet in the air. Never mind. I was quite pleased with this one.
Thanks for reminding me paulrnzpn.
You have way too much negative space.

Great job there.
I have never been to Raglan Beach. One day...
I got some great pics of the horse racing on Castlepoint Beach a few years back though. And I won a competition with two photos that I entered.

Maybe.
I was a long way away and I had no time to change to telephoto. My telephoto was in the car and it was not parked close by. The main reason I stopped there with wide angle lens was only to take some photos of the Surf Life Saving Club building, and then the horses appeared out of nowhere.
I could crop, I know.

P.S. One photo I got at Castlepoint Beach had four race horses in the shot and there were no hooves touching the sand, so I titled it "Sixteen feet in the air".
