Northern Pygmy Owl - Finally!

The Northern Pygmy Owl has always been a nemesis bird for me, eluding me in many attempts to find one. Finally, yesterday, I struck gold. Great views in great light. I'm told NOPO sightings aren't usually this good. What a treat!

That is an amazing set. In almost 70 years of birding I have never gotten a view like that.

WOW, not that makes me feel REALLY lucky! I guess if I never get another sighting as good as this one, I can't complain.
