Salvation IS important. Without salvation you cannot start on a pathway of Redemption. However, repentance, turning to God (repuired for Salvation), turns one in the right direction. From there, he or she must then begin a life of growth. Salvation, while it changes one's eternal destiny, is merely point one on the way to Godliness. While on this earth we must contend with the natural man while having the power of the Spirit to overcome sinfulness. It will not be until we are united with Christ In Heaven that we put off the natural man and assume the Holiness of Christ.

I started to, and I probably will, but I was struck with what would look like her indecisiveness. I'm always suspicious of anyone who calls themselves an atheist. Depending how you want to define God, I'm an agnostic. If we are talking about your God, I went beyond being agnostic years ago, so people like you frequently label me atheist, but that isn't true. I doubt there is a god but defined as an ultimate power, or force, I can't rule it out.
