A few critters I found

at the Arboretum. I'm not good with small creatures, but I keep trying. These are a few I found along the way.
I was glad s/he didn't know I was there, or I wouldn't have been able to get him in the frame!

These guys were very shy, but one finally got in the sun and free from covering branches.

Nice set of creatures Kathy. Our flight season here in PA has come to an abrupt halt. Of course i especially like your first shot of the Variegated Meadowhawk. Nice work!

Beautifully composed set, Kathy. Especially love the size perspective in the middle two photos; the birds are a colorful gem in a sea of forest leaves. Fabulous bokeh in the butterfly photo, very nicely done. The Arboretum has been very productive for you.

Thanks, Joe. I really appreciate the comment. I like to see birds in their habitat, so I usually don't crop the images. The butterfly was a real serendipitous moment. Normally they flit away before I can raise my camera. This one did not. There's always something at the Arboretum.
