Here are some leaves from my archives.
We found these during our dog walks at the local high school. The sun rays warmed up the dark leaves enough to melt the snow below them so they sunk into the snow. Taken with my iPhone.

Just back from a fall trip to Paris. Leaves were falling around the Statue of Liberty replica in Luxembourg Gardens.
