The problem is not getting down on your knees…it’s getting back up on your feet.

OMG, that is funny on so many levels!

It's right up there with the annual physicals that were a part of retaining a Commercial Drivers License. One year I had gone in and the doctor asked me to remove my shirt and drop my pants. My first thought was, what do my testicles have to do with driving a truck but then he said, would you like me to check your prostate while I'm at it? Again, I drew a ridiculous parallel but that's just my warped sense of humor. Maybe I should have asked him if was buying lunch. lol

Almost 20 years later I have had no cancers in either place so maybe he knew something that I didn't.

Can't even attempt it anymore, but these were taken around 2003-4. Old shots that I have cleaned up πŸ€—
A lot of green stuff here, but unfortunately, it's not money I'm talking about 😴
All taken in the Fish Lake area of Indiana, back when I had hair!

Your lady beetle shot may be the best I’ve ever seen.

Fantastic set Joe. I love the second one. I know what you mean about the knees being the limiting factor in low angle photography. The articulated screen helps.

Beautiful! And a great reminder that the art of photography is the product of the photographer, not the latest gear.

A tilt screen and live view help tremendously

OMG! You mean.. I can spend thousands and thousands of dollars on new gear and my images will still suck? Please say it's not so! If I spend that much money the images MUST look better. They have to.

Of course I am kidding. It is definitely the 6" behind the camera that has the most significant effect on the image quality. As is well demonstrated here by Joe.
