A very nice assortment of British cars. I missed seeing the Triumph TR3 and a Morgan.

Thanks for the feedback Morry. More photos to follow soon.

What a really great set. The AH 100/6 is the classiest of the set except not only Lucas electronics but AU carbs.

I agree. I had one and needed to keep a high watt light bulb on at night between those AU carbs to get it started on cold days. Then they got fancy with the 3000 and roll-up windows.

I enjoyed this set immensely. Thank you.

I had a Primrose Yellow ‘67 MGB and it served me well. For some strange reason the Lucas electrics were no problem on mine. Perhaps the previous owner had it redone. Even the twin SUs were no problem. But, I did enjoy fiddling with it back then. I drove that thing top down in miserably cold weather, just because I could. After a year of this I developed a horrible infection (or something) that destroyed my pituitary gland. I’ll always wonder if I did it driving top down in way too cold/damp weather. I sold it and used the money to build a room addition onto our house. It would be worth a great deal if I’d kept it until now - but still considerably less than what the room would cost nowadays, so I came out ahead. Except for the pituitary thing. Meds have been a permanent part of my life since then.

I lived in Jamaica from 56 to 62.
Some names to remember are: Ford Anglia, Consul Prefect.
Sunbeam Rapier & Alpine, Vauxhall, Rover, Bedford, Thames

The English cars there looked the same as the one in your photo.
On the side of the road with the bonnet up!!

Thank you for your feedback and comments Ron. Sorry to hear about your medical problem. While I make fun of the reputation of Lucas electrical systems being problematic and I knew some that did have repeated problems, I also knew of many who did not have problems. Same with SU carbies, a little care and regular maintenance went a long way to keeping them tuned.
