Just curious - How many of you (men, only) have a mustache or beard of any kind? I had a mustaches for decades, and then I shaved it off. Now, I have a mustaches and chin whiskers. Since Covid, many more men have beards.

I had one in college. Not a fan. I'll go maybe three days without shaving. After that, I can't stand it.

I quit shaving when I had to write a thesis in Grad school. It was a bit more work to trim things neatly but less often. When I became a farmer the trimming got less frequent.

When my wife died I found another candidate. One of the conditions for her becoming a wife was that I shave. So now I'm down to a mustache. I have to shave more regularly because otherwise it provides a rough surface that impacts tender spots on the wife. It was a small price to pay.

After my divorce from my first wife I was on a date with a gal, at dinner she told me if I wanted another date my beard had to go, after dinner I took her home said good night, and never called her again!! and never answered her calls.
Her demand made me feel she was a control freak!!
11 years later I met my second wife.

The day I retired from the Navy in 1994 was the last day I'll ever shave. Had a mustache since I was in college but generally Navy couldn't have beards during my time as they prevented a decent seal on emergency breathing masks on the submarine although we did shave very intermittently at sea.

Had a mustache for many years a long time ago. Although I hate shaving I still do it but only every three or four days. Since I'm retired and don't go to work I forego the daily routine.

The title of your post says "Survery - Facial Hair". If this includes eye brows then yes I have some facial hair.

Love that , eye brow, does nose and ear qualify ?

I stopped shaving when my twins were born 50 years ago - I took time off from work to mind the other 3 and didn't have time to shave! I shaved again during Covid as I had to wear a mask almost full time while having radiation treatment for Prostate cancer - it made my chin itchy as well as reducing the efficiency of the mask. I stopped shaving again after catching Covid even though I was wearing a mask as was mandatory at the time. Haven't shaved since

Mustache and beard. Mustache for all of my adult life in emulation of my father. Beard since I retired and didn't have to worry about shaving every day.

Back in the early seventies an employee at at company where I worked grew a beard. It was quite conservative and he looked very good with it. He was threatened with being summarily discharged if he did not shave it off. He huffed and puffed but he did shave it off.

The year was 2000 had a log beard which was snow white and was in the middle of the chest. Children would often call me Santa Claus. When I was asked to play Santa at our Holiday Party I am glad l did not turn it down.
