And compressed perspective. And telephone poles - a favorite subject of many here

In PS Elements ACR, I moved the clarity slider to -14, and in PS Elements main workspace, I used Nik Color Efex fog filter at 70 percent to enhance the fog that was already there in reality.

Your thoughts?

I know you mentioned you like telephone polls. Did you consider doing a vertical shot. Making the poles the stars of the shot. As they fade into the fog.

Thanks Mike! The Nik filter worked a lot better with some fog already there

Great idea, Frank!

In trying to crop close to the poles, I decided a little bit on the left (with the car) was needed. Many thanks!

(and now it needs 1 mm more to include the entire stoplight on left.)

I really like this change. There is no question on what the viewer should be looking at.

Love it to bits 🤍🌞🤍🌞🤍 since when I go to my place in Indiana in the morning, I always promise myself that I'm going to stop and get a picture of the multitude of powerlines aglow with the morning sun. And I never do. But you did

Nice result, Linda. It has been really foggy here but I haven't tried to take any fog images.

Thank you, Ken. I'm often attracted to photo ops with "weather"

Very nice image. The vertical one is also very nice, I like them both.
Indeed, when used properly, a tele can add a beautiful perspective to an image.

Many thanks, William!

I was using my 14-140 mm lens. On my Olympus, 140 mm is equivalent angle of view to 280 in a full frame camera. Which, for my purposes, is often is enough

Thanks John! My motto is start with what's there and then improve
