Went to Ellis Island with a photography group and toured the original buildings. The site is amazing and the photos came out better than I expected. I attached 3 but have a lot more.

My Mother-In-Law came through Ellis Island from Italy in 1947 I believe. Nice shots.

Seen a photo win a spot in the NJ magazine photo contest. Pretty sure it looked ot an open window or doorway & offered up a view of the Lady like yours. Nice photos

I hope that when it was in use, it was in better shape. As is, it's a rather dismal welcome.
