Using class action suits and software that disrupts the AI algorithms .
This is a good thingif AI companies are using artists' work without permission to recreate images in that person's "style". I have had images used commercially (on a very small scale) without my permission, so i sympathize.

I'm glad someone is at least addressing some of the concerns about AI! We'll have to wait and see if this works, and for how long!!

That's nice.

I have no problem with it as long as it's not using other folk's intellectual property without their permission.

And I prefer to create my own images, not use a computer to do it for me.

Like most everything else, it has an upside and a downside. Remember "HAL" the artificial intelligence computer on the spaceship in "Space Odyssey"!
History is rife with unintended consequences!

And blacksmiths fought against the car. There is no holding back "progress." For better or worse, AI will continue to advance and both interfere with and help our lives.

Yes. And the old Automotive Safety Council had to step in to force manufactures to provide safety features, such as horns, adequate brakes on all four wheels and eventually seat belts which manufactures vociferously opposed as unneeded expenses, even if the costs WERE passed on to the buyers! AI will be with us forever, but it shouldn't be a "no holds barred" innovation without some kind of oversight!

I remember the great controversy about mandating seatbelt use. "People will be trapped in their cars and drown or be burned alive!"

I also remember the controversy about airbags, something the auto industry fought right to the end. I wonder how many people died needlessly while companies were fighting to keep them out of cars.

No restrictions should be placed on AI it is a tool to be used at the discretion of the photographer

I think that legitimate photographers are going to be the least of the problem as AI develops.
