I can't speculate on the cause of the issue but using Photoshop or one of many other available applications, perform a sky replacement.

Yes, I'm considering trying a sky replacement, it will be the first time I've attempted that. Also trying AutoPano Giga as someone suggested. First attempt at that looks some better, but I still need to go back into the individual images and try turning off the lens correction and see if that helps.

I have had a similar result if I take a series of images with my Olympus 12-100 lens at the wide angle range of the lens. I try to remember to set the lens at about 25 MM (50mm FFE) when I am going to stitich images. I also find that shooting my stitiched pano shots to put the camera in portrait position as well.

All seven of the images I used to make the pano were shot at 200 MM and shot it in portrait position.

Dust in the lens wouldn’t look like that. It’s the sensor. And maybe this could have been done with a wide angle lens and cropped, but not with the same detail you can get when stitching.

I think part of the problem, point out by others, was the fact that I used a CPL filter or at least I think that enhanced the problem.

That's going to be a challenge.

You will need to do a replacement for each of the seven images or use a very wide angle image of a sky that looks OK for the pano.

Thanks, I'll try daytime K, but while I've considered the sky replacement, (never done it before), I didn't think about searching for a sky from possibly the same area. Again, I've never attempted a sky replacement either though.

Easy to do, just look at youtube and search "sky replacement".

Go to "edit" scroll down to sky replacement and you will have some preset choices that are adjustable. You can download free additional skys from Adobe stock. There are youtube tutorials on how to do that also...

Thanks for your help. I may try some sky replacement, but have a few other things to try first.

Thanks, I'll do that if I get to sky replacement. I may do it anyway for learning the technique.
