You say you cannot go back, but don't you have a local backup of your computer? Or a cloud backup? Everything would be there, and you could clone it back to the new drive.
Local backup is dead simple and effortless because it is automatic.

Good morning, I’m not very technical but you’re saying I should be able to change my iMac from Monterey back to earlier version? I do use iCloud.

I’m soooo happy!! Was able to download 2025 photoshop/elements on iMac. I guess it’s who you talk to at Adobe 🤷♀️. Thank you all for you input ☺️

I have experienced the same problem on Mac; updated to latest OS from Apple which no longer supported PSE 21. Purchased PSE 23 and have had nothing but problems ever since.
