SO many people have a misconception about AI.
@ bnnsradio:
Welcome to the discussion. This place has become 'quick to judge' and sometimes lacking in civility.
For that, I apologize.
Now objectively your first question was not a very good effort, it was vague and lacking any specifics.
If you had done any homework you would quickly see that this subject has been beaten to death but just keeps coming back -like a zombie. So people responded with all that as background.
A.I is an overly broad hot button, and often conflated with an 'if this then that' algorithm. Companies have been quick to add A.I to product descriptions of all sorts (weather it applies or not) .
The more that happens, the more specific you have to be to have a meaningful discussion.
True A.I poses deep questions about both authorship and authenticity. So if you photograph spot news, or do documentary photography there are very strict standards that mitigate against its use. If you do photo- illustration it might be your best friend.
These are just basic and obvious examples, but their aim is to illustrate why any question about it needs specificity and Context.
I hope this helps

So we're suppose to go through posting history with a search that only searches through lousily written titles before we ask a question???
Not gonna happen......
For years, I have been using "Human" intellengence to take photographs. Mostly they work fine. And the results are such , that those with human intellengece understand the photographs and for the most part like them.
I'm not sure if "artificial intellengence" will draw the same resul;ts.

For breakfast, I had a couple of English muffins with butter and jam and a Granny Smith apple. Oh yes, black coffee too.
Ok, I'll bite on the topic --- question is, medium blend or dark roast; full strength??
Nice to see someone else likes unadulterated coffee.
Oh, since we're on the topic, have you ever tried a peanut butter sandwich, lightly toasted w/ apple butter and smoked gouda cheese?
Someone asked me, "Seriously? Gouda Cheese on peanut butter" ??? Well of course gouda. Anything else is just, well,
uncivilized!

I promise I will NOT mention my breakfast.
Disclaimer here.... I Did Not have the peanut butter w/ apple butter and gouda cheese for breakfast!! Really. I did not! Really. Nope, sure didn't.......
If they did, it would be another "personality" to deal with, good or bad,
unless some prime directives are built in that cannot be over-ridden.

Oh he's just the new kid on the block. Has to go through the vetting process. Being a Texan for 35 yrs, I'd say Hang in there pardner'. Good photographers and information given here - patience.
And a thick skin - ya' know, like a duster?

Yeah, I might be the "new kid on the block" and it may sound like my feelings get hurt easily, but let me reassure you that after 23 years being a police officer/sergeant, my skin is pretty thick. In fact my skin is probably three times thicker than most everyone in this forum. I just find it very childish for grown adults to revell in smart ass comments meant to demean others or bring a lot of attention to their own insecurity. I see plenty of that on other social networks and it just gets tiresome. That being said, I truely appreciate your comments and vote of assurance.

Just be glad in the fact that you're not like some of those other people.....
I normally <initially> believe that people are intelligent, kind, courteous, ... until they prove otherwise.
Some have been able to do that in less than 7 seconds.

Very zen! I get it. A student says "Master, if all may be reduced to one, what can the one be reduced to?" The Master reply's, "I went to the market yesterday and bought a new coat!"

You have encountered another forum disruption problem besides the “smart-ass” posts.
Well-meaning posters can, mostly unintentionally, flood a topic with trite and irrelevant posts that can derail a discussion, sometimes before it even starts.
Some people just have an obsessive need to post whether they have something to say or not. That’s fine in the Chit-Chat section but can raise hell with a conversation about a serious topic in this Main section.

I have a friend on Facebook that is constantly posting (sharing) "save/adopt the cat/dog" postings, from all over the country on their page....
