Shot the plate then into Photoshop to remove the brown rim. Softened the edges then added a background. Net I took it to Topaz and added "Tale of the Bard" filter.

I would never have suspected it came from a plate. Nicely done on the edge work. And a little bokeh thrown in for good measure.
