Of note, the 'preference for Sony' is not about the cameras but the Vatican broadcast selection, nothing to do with the damned pope..
OH NO, the Pope is damned. OH NO.
For video equipment it makes sense to use Sony. Sony has been in the video business for a long time.
Well okay...but I'm still keeping my Sony gear.

That's the headline from Digital Camera World!
"Vatican Media (formerly Centro Televisivo Vaticano) is responsible for official broadcasts of the Pope and Vatican activity. It has just reupped its relationship with Sony to upgrade its broadcast system, making use of the manufacturer's suite of 4K, PTZ and broadcast cameras."
So another kudo for Sony.
"Sony, the one and only." haha - sorry just don't like Sony cameras, although have some other Sony products. Nick-on is my baby.

I dunno - there are advantages to brand loyalty which include experience with reliability, user interface, design priorities, performance, quality control, etc. I am brand loyal to particular brands of TVs, automobiles, appliances, computer storage, stereo receivers, power tools just to name a few. And yes, cameras. That doesn’t mean I won’t try a new brand, but it does mean that if I’ve had a good experience with regard to quality, performance, reliability and ergonomics, lacking a major change in direction, I’d be predisposed to buy another.

Be kind...HE is watching you!
But what about Presbyterians? We don't want anything too easy or comfortable. And nothing on charge cards-- Calvin said charging over 5% interest was the work of the Devil.

Yes--tell us which cameras the Devil prefers.
