A a much younger stud, I remember all the Studes from the early '40s to their demise. Always thought they were stylish.

If i could afford one, I would have one in a NY minute! Our next door nieghbor had one when I was in high school, and I’ve loved them ever since. They’re a little stocky in the waist, but very stylish anyway.

These were actually a formidable car in their day. They had a 289 (240hp), a supercharged 289 (289hp) and a supercharged 304 putting out 335 hp putting it into Corvette territory, delivering over 1hp per cubic inch. Many had standard transmissions...3 and 4 speeds and a 4 speed automatic. Andy Granatelli raced them at Bonneville. And really nice looking in my opinion.

Fascinating. Great info on one of those cars that was gone too soon...
