Cool shots. Ford has been doing that for a long time. They shoehorned a 429 ci into my '69 Mustang then had to create a special tool to remove the rear spark plugs. By then most owners who worked on their own cars had cut a hole in the fender liner to get to it with a regular wrench.

I remember that there weren't tires large enough to provide any meaningful traction.
I'm a Chevy guy, but the 429 c.i. Mustang was a Beast!!!
I still remember those days and those memories still make me,

My ‘65 Sunbeam Tiger had cut outs in the interior in the transmission tunnel with grommets to get to the rear spark plugs.
