Very nice shot. It was only after they were gone that I began to appreciate some of the great styling that Studebakers had. Those Commander series were good looking cars.

I, for a short period of time, knew Dr. Robert Cade. He was the inventor of Gatorade while associated with the University of Florida. He was a Studebaker fanatic if there ever was one. At the time I knew him he had, if I remember right, 11 of them.

Same here. We never thought much of them as kids, even though one of our crowd had one. The Hawks were great looking cars. I seem to see Studes more often at car shows than I use to.
